Dronacharya Government College, [DGC] Gurgaon was established in 1951. The college is about 2.9 km from the Gurgaon Railway station and about 20Km from Delhi Airport. This is one of the renowned institutes in the area. This college is known for providing quality education to the students. This college acts as a study center for  Indira Gandhi National Open University [IGNOU] and a distance center for Maharshi Dayanand University [MDU]. BA {Hons.}/ B.Com/ BA

B.Sc/ BCA

  • The candidate must have passed class 12 from a recognized board.
  • They must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
  • They must have an aggregate of 50% marks or 45% for SC/ ST.

MA

  • The candidates must have a bachelor's degree.
  • They must have a minimum of 50% or equivalent CGPA.
  • 5% relaxation is given to the students who belong to SC/ ST.

I didn't take any placements so don't know anything about it. But companies came last year to hire us.

Fees and Scholarship

The course fee is around Rs.3000 PA. There are few options for the scholarship the backward casts has more options for scholarship other than the general cast. Around 20-30% of students get the scholarship. No loans needed.

classes start from 9 am and gets over by 1; 30 pm which is followed by practical classes which lasts for 2.5 hours

teaching quality is good , methods of teaching are a bit old but effective 

the overall experience is good

  • There is only girls hostel in college.
  • College infrastructure is not so cool as it is a govermnt college, things are not well-maintained.
