Considering the ever-increasing demand for Kovai Medical Center Research and Educational Trust started Dr.N.G.P. Arts and Science College at Dr.N.G.P, Kalapatti Road, Coimbatore 48, in the year 1997. Today, the college has grown to provide 19 Undergraduate courses, 14 Postgraduates courses, M.Phil programmes (PT /FT) in 09 disciplines, and Ph.D programmes (PT / FT) in 04 disciplines, 05 PG Diploma courses , 02 diploma courses and 02 certificate courses are provided by the college. There are around 3700 students studying in our college.

Dr.N.G.P. Arts and Science College has been recognized by the Government of Tamilnadu, Affiliated to the Bharathiar Univeristy, Coimbatore and it is an ISO 9001:2000 Certified Institution.

About the Placement Cell

The placement cell plays a vital role in paving the way for success in their career planning, Training and Recruitment. The placement and training cell is functioning since 2000. Which interacts with reputed organizations all over the country for arranging campus interviews for the placement of final year students. It takes effort to send most of the students for inplant training to enhance their technical ability and exposure to the practical world.

Industrial visits to reputed companies are also arranged to acquire more details for enhancing their managerial capability. P&T cell also arranges and guides the final year students for getting the projects from industries. Most of the companies conduct campus interviews and select our students every year.

About 27 Companies recruited students for various positions of their choice. Apart from the above, the placement cell, continuously organizes career oriented programmes and it helps the students to overcome the hurdles in searching for the jobs.
