Eligibility Criteria for BA LLB {Hons.}, LLB

The students who wish to attend the Dispur Law College for the BA LLB Course withe the following conditions:

• Will have to have completed 10th+2 from a CBSE-recognised institution.
• shall not be less than 40% for SC, ST and OBC of the total marks in Higher Secondary or equivalent examination as overall aggregate.
• Should have passed HSSLC EXAMINATION (Arts, Science or Commerce) or equivalent examination.

Eligibility Criteria for LLB

The students who wish to attend the Dispur Law College will have to fulfill the following conditions:

• Should have done10th+2+graduation course of any kind.
• Must have ggot a overall score of 40% as overall aggregate.

NOTE: The candidates can be of age but even then must bring their age certificate as evidence.(For any of the courses.)

Application Process for BA LLB {Hons.}, LLB

Application for admission into the college shall be made in prescribed admission form issued by the College Office. Application form, duly filled in, and accompanied by copies of all testimonials and documents as prescribed, must reach the college on or before the last date as notified . Incomplete from shall not be entertained. Applications received after last date shall be rejected. Applicants shall appear in person before the Admission Committee for interview and admission on the appointed date and time.

Admission Process for BA LLB {Hons.}, LLB

Admission into the college is made strictly in order of merit and admission test and is governed by the College Admission rules. All admission shall be made with the prior recommendation of the Admission Committee. Candidates are required to produce at the time of interview/admission the original copies of:

• Certificates and Mark sheets of H.S.L.C. and HSSLC Examination
• Age Certificate.
• Character Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended.
• Cast Certificate, wherever necessary
• 2 copies of passport size photograph.

Admission Committee shall have every right to refuse admission in appropriate cases. An admission test shall be conducted, if required, as per the schedule to be notified. The admission test will be held on the date notified for the subjects mentioned below:

• General English - 30 marks.
• General Knowledge - 30 marks
• Legal Aptitude - 30 marks
• Personality - 10 marks
