Scholarship :-

There are a number of scholarship to students belonging to SC/ST/OBC and meritorious students offered by the state and the central government. Scholarship money is credited to the scholar's account with SBI Jorhat Branch. No scholarship money is paid in cash. A number of other departmental scholarship are also available for meritorious students. Special financial assistance schemes for SC/ST/OBC students are also available.The following awards and scholarship are also available from the trust deed fund of the college: 

• Bhuban Chandra Dutta Memorial Cash Prize to the students who secures the highest marks in the Higher Secondary Science Final Examination from the college.
• Nur Bahar Begum Memorial Award Cash Prize to the students of the college who secures the highest mark in major subject in B.A. Final examinations.
• Dr. V. Venkata Rao Memorial Award to the student who secures the highest mark in Political Science in H.S. 1st year examination.
• Lakshmi Priya Memorial Scholarship (two scholarship): One is awarded to the student who obtains Highest Mark in the HSLC examination among all the students of the college. The other is awarded to the student who secures highest mark in H.S. Arts Final Examination among all the students of the degree classes of the college.
• Padma Baruah Memorial Scholarship is awarded to the student who secures the highest marks in the College Promotion Examinations.
