DIT University Scholarship Details

DIT University scholarships are offered to students with exemplary academic performance. Alongside merit, DITU scholarships are provided to economically weaker students from various socio-economic backgrounds. The university wants students to pursue their education without any financial hurdles. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by DIT University Dehradun to avail of the scholarships. Merit-Based Scholarship 

The DIT University scholarship is provided to meritorious students based on the class 12th percentage at the time of admission, and the same applies to the program tuition fees. The postgraduates can avail of merit Dehradun Institute of Technology Uttarakhand scholarships based on the graduation percentage at admission, which applies to the program tuition fees. 

Sports Scholarship

The DIT University scholarship amount will be awarded per the sports quota scholarship policy, which is applicable once at admission on tuition fee only.

Himalayan States Scholarship

DIT University will provide a 26% scholarship on tuition fees to permanent residents of Uttarakhand or other Himalayan states for whom 40% of seats are reserved throughout the program. To claim a scholarship, a DIT University Dehradun student must have a valid domicile certificate when reporting for counselling. 

Scholarship for Girl Students

A DIT University scholarship of 10% is offered on the tuition fees for girls in the first year of UG and diploma programs. Female DITU students who have scored 80% and above in their classes 10 and 12 for UG programs and 80% in class 10 for diploma programs are eligible for the DIT University scholarship. 

The DIT University scholarship percentage will remain the same for all categories of admissions. The scholarship will be continued from the second year if a DIT University Uttarakhand student maintains a CGPA of 8.5 and above every year, without any back paper. 

Scholarship for Wards of Defence Personnel

DIT University Dehradun offers a scholarship of 5% of tuition fees applicable for wards of Defence personnel in the first year of the UG and diploma programs.

Education Loan

In addition to Dehradun Institute of Technology scholarships, DITU students also have the option of availing of education loans from banks as financial assistance. The banks that have tie-ups with DIT University Uttarakhand are listed below:
