The Scholarships at DIT University are offered to its students based on the criteria mentioned below.
Merit Scholarship can be availed on the basis of the XIIth standard percentage for the UG program and graduation percentage for the PG program at the time of admission which is applicable to the program tuition fees.
Uttarakhand State Scholarship Policy (For UG & PG Program):
Permanent residents of Uttarakhand carrying a valid Domicile Certificate in Original at the time of admission are eligible for a 26% scholarship on tuition fees. Also for these students, 40% of seats are reserved throughout the program.
Sports Scholarship Policy (For UG & PG Program):
As per the Sports Quota Scholarship policy, scholarships are awarded once at the time of admission on tuition fees only.
Shri Naveen Agarwalji Scholarship for Girl Student (For UG & Diploma Program):
For girl students in their first year of undergraduate and diploma studies, a 10% scholarship on tuition fees is applicable, if the following criteria are met.
Scholarship for Wards of Defence personnel [Indian Army, Indian Air Force, Indian Navy & Indian Coast Guards only] (For UG Program):
In the first year of undergraduate programs, a scholarship of 5% on tuition fees is applicable for the son/ daughter of defense personnel, if the following documents are produced at the time of admission.

Stipends for Ph.D.:
Note: Stipend will be awarded for 10 months in an academic year. TA, if and when assigned will be for approximately 10-12 hrs per week of teaching load each semester. The continuation of the stipend is subject to the satisfactory progress of the candidate’s Ph.D./research work and teaching reports. It will be reviewed every year. The maximum period for the stipend to an eligible candidate is 3 years from the date of admission.
