Dau Dayal Mahila (P.G.) College is the leading most women's college, founded by Late. Shri S. G. Chandra in the Memory of his father, Late Shri Dau Dyal Ji a leading industrialist and philanthropist of Northern India.
DDMPG College has been assessed and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, Banglore, (an autonomous body of the University Grants Commission) and awarded ”B+” grade.
Teaching constitutes the core of teacher educator courses. More than 10 schools of the district have been identified and are associated with the college for practice teaching.
Pupil : Teachers have to deliver ten lesson plans in each method. Lesson plans are checked beforehand and students are allowed to impart teaching only after the approval of the concerned subject teacher. Teaching is observed by the concerned teacher. Each student has to observe at least ten demonstration lessons of teacher educators.
NTT : Teacher educators of NTT have to carry out practice teaching in the preschool / anganwadis / balwadis / pre- primary in terms of full day programme (school duration).
B.T.C. : A student teacher has to teach a minimum 15 lessons in each of the optional teaching subject in primary / classes.
B.Ed : The pupil teachers have to deliver a minimum of 20 lessons (including micro and macro) in each of the optional teaching subjects in secondary and senior secondary classes.
The Founder of Institution had only one aim in mind. This was to provide best possible education to the girls in an atmosphere conducive to the development of her total personality and genius.
The futuristic vision of our college – to empower and enlighten women with the light of knowledge and equipping them with various skills is reflected by the fact that the college has started various Job-oriented courses.
A well equipped library with a variety of books and journals has been provided for the benefit of students. Students can avail library facility by showing the library card issued to them at the time of admission.
Seminars and workshops are organized from time to time on topics related to different aspects of education. Students present their seminar papers and take part in discussions.

Placement Cell :-
The Placement Cell has been created in the college under the guidance of the Director to help the students in finding suitable jobs after completion of their studies. Efforts are also being made to invite Management and Principals of various Educational Institutes for the Campus selection of the prospective teachers.
