Facilities :-
The department's infrastructure is modern with all well equipped facilities. Department has an excellent library, computer centre, laboratories and workshops.
CUSAT Library has IP enabled access to on line Journals under the UGC-INFONET - E-Journals Consortia and INDEST Consortia set up in the Campus Network. CUSAT library itself is also subscribing e-journals.
Limited hostel accommodation is available for Postgraduate / Research students ( three hostels for Men & two for Women in the Main campus and one hostel for Men in the Lakeside Campus). Altogether, they can accommodate 500 men students and 300 lady students. No hostel accommodation is available for graduate students. However, private, off - campus accommodation is available for them.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : 50% in Physics Chemistry Mathematics in class 12. The entrance exam is the CUSATCAT exam. The General cut off rank 200.
