Placements & Internships : Mainly IT companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and others come for recruitment for development roles. Average packages offered are of 3lakhs. Almost 80% of students get placed in various companies. The Alumni network is rather strong. They help in various activities of the college and provide facilities too.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria is that you should be a grade 12 passout with Physics, Chemistry, and Math subjects. We need to submit the proper documents of 12th, grade sheets, KEAM score cards, etc, while applying for admissions. Should pass Kerala Entrance Exam (KEAM) with good marks and a rank that suits the rank range for the college.

Fees & Scholarships : The course fee at College of Engineering Chengannur, [CEC] Alappuzha is different for dierent kinds of seats. If you have a Merit seat, the course fee per year is 35000, and if you have a Management Merit seat it is 65000. Merit seats require a better KEAM rank. There are no scholarship options as of now. Loans if needed can be taken from any bank with just an application and permission from the College Principal.

Academics & Faculty : Class timings are from 9 to 4. Exams and assignments are given during those timings. Projects are mainly during the 3rd and 4th years. The quality and method of teaching is rather good. The overall experience in this college has been wonderful.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 3 girls hostels and 1 boys hostel. Hostel fees per month would be a minimum of 3000. There are a lot of PG options outside of college. Food available in the college is rather good and cheaper. The library is good and labs, classrooms are a bit old since it's been an institution for a long time. There is no wifi provided in the college for personal use but wifi is available in labs for study purposes.

Clubs & Associations : There are various societies on campus like IEEE, NSS, NCC, IEDC,etc. There are arts festivals, celebrations, football tournaments, sports, tech fests, etc. College life in general is amazing.
