The campus has been aesthetically planned and designed in a sprawling, pollution free area with lush green landscaped lawns surrounded by exotic trees and flowering plants. The campus is majestic, about 20 acres: an airy, well illuminated and cheerful area with several academic blocks is provided, so as not to disturb academic activities and yet, yielding efficient back-up administrative services to the inmates and visitors. The comfortable well-furnished hostels are there, with their own lawns, games and common rooms, reading rooms, T.V. rooms etc. The institute runs a common mess under the supervision and guidance of the institute to provide hygienic and nourishing food to students. The campus is also provided with 24 hours electricity back-up and water supply, high speed internet facility. Wi-Fi is available 24x7.

Lecture rooms:

CERT provides a professional, competent and expert faculty to inculcate a questioning bent of mind and curiosity in the students. Our faculty members with rich academics as well as industrial experience are facilitators for the student’s future and members for their lives. The Institute has a modern infrastructure and technological support to facilitate teaching, learning and personality development of its students. The Institute provides well furnished lecture halls giving the future managers and technocrats a focused arena to develop their personalities. Latest audio-visual aids and multimedia technology enable the faculty to have interactive sessions of teaching which proliferate confidence and enthusiasm among the students.

Library:

Books are the way to endless ocean of knowledge. A well managed library is the heart of an academic institute. The CERT library System consists of a Central Library and its five departmental libraries which collectively support the teaching, research and extension programmes of the Institute. All students, faculty members and employees of the Institute are entitled to make use of the Library facilities by taking Library membership. The Library of CERT ia s 21st century Knowledge Center to facilitate the transition of today’s engineering society into a knowledge base society of tomorrow, the knowledge generated by the faculty and students of CERT has been digitized and made accessible through Intranet and Internet.

• One of the richest library having more than 80,000 books with 9,000 Title discipline’s with Engineering, Management, Humanities of Foreign, Indian writers.
• 325 National and International Journals in Hard Copy Educational General CD’s.
• Along with the automation of Library services, The institute has become a Member of University, IIT, MHRD through NPTEL & other major library networks through the connectivity of DELNET Library facility.
• The Institute Library has access to 53 IEEE_275 other Electronic journals through Internet and approximately 1,566 CD’s on various topics are available in the library for self-learning.
• The Library is issuing books to students for a certain time period, after which they can be reissued.
• Book bank facility is also provided.
• The library remains open from 9:30 to 10:00 p.m.
• Library provides free wireless internet access to students.
• The Library also provides appropriately equipped and configured computers for library users.

Computer lab

The computer department has 5 laboratories. The Computer Department has well-equipped computer labs with state-of-the –art servers, Pentium-IV PC’s mostly with the latest configuration. There exist a complete range of software, all desktop in the campus are interconnected through LAN and internet using a bandwidth of 10 Mbps, high power UPS. The computing facilities are made available 24x7, Wi-fi connectivity and it has been provided to the entire campus. The laboratories are supported by well-qualified staff. The department has about 500 computers. LCD projectors are available for classroom presentations. In addition, laptops have been provided to all the departments for easier accessing and retrieving of any information.

Canteen:

The Institute has a Modern Canteen Cafeteria to cater a variety of delicious finger licking and hygienic food/snacks with Nescafe & Cream Bell Counter. The Cafeteria is kept open for 16 hours a day. It has wide range of eatables including Tea, Coffee, Samosas, Burger, Chowmein, Dosa etc. and some essential stationary items too..

The students may refresh themselves by coming here. It is especially useful for the hostellers as it is opened for the whole night during the examination period.
