Additional Details for Cochin University of Science and Technology, [CUSAT] Kochi:
- Candidates should have completed Bachelors Degree in any branch of Life Sciences including Agricultural and Medial Sciences/ Chemical Sciences/ Chemical Engineering with at least 55% marks in aggregate
Reservation of seats is available for the candidates belonging to Kerala:
- Scheduled Castes-8%, Scheduled Tribes-2% and Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) of Kerala (Ezhava/ Thiyya/ Billava (ETB)-9%, Muslim (MSM)-8%, Other Backward Hindu (OBH)-3%, Latin Catholic including Anglo-Indian (LC)-3%, Other Backward Christian (OBX)-1%, Dheevara (DHV)-2%, Viswakarma (VSK)-2%, Pot-making Communities (PMC)-1%, Kudumbi (KMB)-1%)
- One seat is reserved for physically challenged candidates with at least 40% disability
- Candidates belonging to those communities which are identified and communicated through Government Orders as KSC/ KST/ SEBC for the purpose of academic admissions by Government of Kerala alone will be considered as KSC/ KST/ SEBC for the purpose of the communal reservation
- SEBC candidates are eligible for seat reservation only if they belong to Non- Creamy Layer category
- All documents are to be produced as a proof for Special Reservations and in addition to those documents, candidates need to produce 0riginal certificates related to their educational qualifications
