Merit cum means scholarship
A student who is economically week especially from rural areas is eligible to apply provided he / she furnishes corresponding evidence for his / her eligibility, enclosing a community /income certificate from an official an official not below the rank of a revenue inspector. A good academic record is must.
Merit Scholarship
An under graduate or a postgraduate student with a brilliant academic track record is eligible.
Leadership Award
Students should be an all-rounder with consistent contribution towards academics, sports, Co-curricular and all other institute related activities.
He / She must have distinct communication skills and exhibit leadership qualities
The awardee must be a mature individual, who shows a sense of social responsibility and ethical fiber in all his/ her actions.
The students must have followed all institute policies and respect its teaching and non teaching staff.
He / She should have set an example to others through his / her outstanding behavior and conduct.
He / She must not only be admired but also respected his / her peers and colleagues.
Sports Scholarship
The CMR Sports Scholarship is aimed at promoting sports within the institution and in the country. There are three different types of scholarship. They are
State Level Scholarship
National Level Scholarship
International Level Scholarship
Students who have represented / participated in State, National and International levels sports competitions and participated in track and field events, Athletics, Games, (Such as Cricket, Hockey, Basket Ball, Volley Ball, Swimming, Fencing etc.) Students who have represented in Yoga or Chess in the National and International competitions can also apply.
Applications are called for during August / September of each academic year.
B) EXTERNAL SCHOLARSHIP
Scholarship by ICCR
SC / ST and Backward class Merit Scholarship from Government of Karnataka
Scholarship from Various State Governments
Scholarship from Governments of other country
Applications are called for as and when it is being announced by the respective agency.
