Library

Libraries are backbone of any civilized society and heart of any academic institution. The CSAIST library too believes in the transformative power of a liberal education by ensuring access to rich and diverse resources. The CSAIST Library fosters intellectual growth and offer comprehensive services related to dissemination of knowledge. The CSAIST library engages the communities it serves through its diverse collections, services, and staff. The library offers an extensive range of resources and services to support teaching and learning.

The well established library of the CSAIST caters to the need of the undergraduate and post graduate students, research scholars and the faculty by offering collections in multiple formats, providing access to information worldwide, and establishing services and learning environments responsive to users' needs. The CSAIST Library plays an essential role in supporting the curriculum at CSAIST. The library has a very rich collection of carefully selected subject-specific documents including books, reference sources, CD-ROM and journals. The library honors all the suggestions received from the teaching staff, students and also visiting scholars to keep its collection up-to date and for making our services easy to use and access. The collection of the library is growing continuously on an everyday basis.

Lecture Halls

Lecture halls are thoughtfully designed to inculcate a sense of discipline and high quality learning, and are equipped with teaching aids such as LCD Projectors, overhead projectors, wireless PA and audio-visual systems. A very comfortable environment in the lecture halls makes learning a unique experience for students as well as faculty members. Students regularly conduct various formal & informal activities in the lecture halls like interactive sessions, workshops, leadership exercises, management games, debates, quizzes, guest lectures, role-plays etc. They learn to handle and work with latest presentation equipment that gives them the confidence to present in front of diverse audiences.

The latest multimedia technology enables faculty members to have interactive sessions of teaching that builds confidence and enthusiasm amongst the students. The seating arrangement is such that the students get an unhindered view of the faculty and teaching aids from all sides.

Seminar Halls

The Seminar Hall of CSAIST is equipped with computer, LCD Projector, and PA System for achieving high quality audio and visual effects. It is used for seminars, staff meetings, knowledge sharing sessions, special assemblies, special functions, workshops etc. and is in high demand for conducting the activities of the Institute.

Wi-Fi Campus

Wi-Fi, the abbreviation of wireless fidelity is wireless networking technology that is being used within a limited range of area in the radio and electronic field. CSAIST has Wi-Fi campus. Students can access internet in the entire campus.

Medical Facilities

Good health is necessary to keep our mind strong and clear.

CSAIST campus has a well equipped Medical center to provide first aid and prompt medical care round the clock. Doctors are available to meet any emergency in the institute or hostel. Salient features in this regard are:-

• 24 X 7 Medical Care.
• Medicines to Students & Staff from the Institute Infirmary.
• CSAIST has a tie up with surrounding hospitals for consultancy and treatment.
• To deal with emergency cases, the institute transport is available round the clock to carry the patients for treatment at surrounding hospitals.

Security

We have professionally trained and well-supervised security officers who are responsible for security and safety of assets, personnel and property at CSAIST campus. Fire alarm and the fire fighting systems further add to the safety of our students and staff. No one can enter or leave the campus without proper authorization which is further verified by the respective Department Heads.

At CSAIST, we have taken a uniformly strict view on student’s security. The faculty and anti-ragging cells are always vigilant and pro-active to ensure that the relation between seniors and juniors is always based on amicability and mutual respect. As per The Honorable Supreme Court of India directives, Anti-Ragging Committee, Anti-Ragging Squad and Mentoring Cell are constituted at CSAIST.

Gymnasium And Health Club

A well equipped Air-conditioned gym having latest instruments and machines has ensured better fitness and health facilities for the students, faculty and staff members of CSAIST. Instructors and trainers are also available to train the gym enthusiasts.
