Central University of Tamil Nadu Infrastructure: Library, Hostel, Labs, Gym, Auditorium & Other Facilities

Central University of Tamil Nadu offers modern amenities for a better learning experience. The campus is equipped with a library, health centre, sports facilities, etc. Some of the highlighting features of the CUTN infrastructure are given below.

Library: The CUTN library includes 36,511 books in its collection. Over 2000 of these are reference books (handbooks, dictionaries, encyclopaedias, coloured atlases, etc.), while the rests are textbooks and general books. In addition, the library has 114 CDs/DVDs and 130 print publications. Furthermore, it has taken a proactive approach to develop a necessary collection of materials for new programs being launched by various departments.

Health Centre: Central University of Tamil Nadu has a health centre that serves the university community, students, and faculty by providing primary health care and emergency services. Outpatient care is available around the clock, and there is an emergency care centre with medical officers on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The health care system is equipped with all necessary emergency equipment to deal with any emergency. It has four IP beds and a fully equipped ambulance and pharmacy that is open 24 hours a day.

Canteen: CUTN mess offers hygienic meals at reasonable prices. 

Guest House: The CUTN campus has a guest house on the CUTN residential campus. Official visitors of CUTN, members of selection committees, boards of studies, examiners, experts, and others are welcome to stay at the guest houses. Guests are currently accommodated in two different blocks, each with three beds. Each guest home complex includes a common hall, kitchen, dining hall, and separate vehicle parking shed. Each bedroom has two beds, one LCD TV, air conditioning, and other basic equipment. It offers a safe and clean environment.

Multipurpose Auditorium: CUTN facilities include a well equipped and state of the art auditorium for a better experience. The CUTN Multipurpose Hall (MP hall) is for internal events, such as those hosted by CUTN workers and students.

Hostel: CUTN hostel offers accommodation facilities for males and females. They are furnished with the required facilities.
