Academics & Faculty : The daily routine class timings depends upon disciplines. Science usually starts from 9 am and ends at 4:30-5 pm. Arts and commerce classes have two timings - morning batch and afternoon batch. Each of them usually takes 3-4 hours. Projects and assignments are generally held during even srmesters. And there are 6 total semesters we have to appear, internal exams are also held in each semester. The Quality and method of teaching are considerable. Practical classes are held much more than general classes. Also great faculties and permanent professors taught us well. Overall experience was better in Cachar College from my side.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Cachar college offers bachelor's degree in three of the major disciplines - science, humanities and commerce. It has simple eligibility criteria. It allows students who acquire 45% and more in PUC. Luckily there is no entrance exam for admissions. Typical cutoffs for my course is 55% and above.

Placements & Internships : The internship is compulsory to do in Cachar College for all the students.

Fees & Scholarships : The course Fee course is more than Rs.3000 but less than Rs.5000 per year at Cachar College, paid during admissions, excluding additional charges such as examination fees. There are hardly any scholarship options for students.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There were very few hostels, which costs more than 1000 per month at Cachar College. PGs are available and their fare depends upon the owners. College canteen is available for that. It offers food at low costs, such as one plate meal costs Rs50. The quality of Classrooms are larger and accommodates more than 100 students. Labs are also quite good and have all the required chemicals and materials and etc etc. Transportation facility is absent.

Clubs & Associations : There are few student societies in college which are responsible for elections, cultural and sports and also are answerable for many student issues. Sports, cultural, biotech hubs and seminars are held. Well, it was a bit fun and excitement in Cachar College.
