Entrance Exams & Admissions : The admission to this college happens through the UPSEE exam conducted by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) once in a year. 

Fees & Scholarships : Being a government college, fees structure is optimal. Apart from that, hostel fees are quite low and hence, affordable. Students can also avail of the benefits of scholarship provided by the state government. Approximately 70-75% of the students can avail of the benefit of scholarship. 

Academics & Faculty : The classes start at 9:00 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m. The quality and method of teaching are not as per the required industrial requirements. Some permanent faculties are very supportive and qualified. They guide you. BIET Jhansi is very flexible which is quite joyful for those who prefer self-studies.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :  BIET Jhansi has a wide campus established in 250 acres of land, There are 8 hostels- Vrindavan Bhawan (1st yr Boys) Saket Bhawan (2nd yr Boys) Panchwati Bhawan (3rd yr Boys) Jai Bharat Bhawan (Final yr Boys) Kalpana Bhawan (1st & 3rd yr Girls) Yashodhara Bhawan (2nd & final yr Girls) Major Dhyanchand Bhawan  APJ Abdul kalam Bhawan  Every hostel has its separate playground, mess, canteen, and common room, where you can enjoy cricket matches and football matches with all of your friends. Thanks to the separate hostels that prevent ragging on campus, B.I.E.T Jhansi has a central playground and a canteen that offers food delivery as well. Every department has its building although some of the departments like Electrical, Electronics and Information Technology are situated in the same building. The Internet speed is quite good here and available 24*7. Every hostel has its Wi-Fi which offers the Internet at high speed. Every hostel has its separate playground, mess, canteen, and common room, where you can enjoy cricket matches and football matches with all of your friends. If you love sports like Cricket, Football, Table tennis, Badminton, Volleyball, and other indoor-outdoor games then welcome! This college is for you. Classrooms are not very well-maintained. However, the lab facilities are quite good.

Clubs & Associations : There are several societies in college like cultural sub-council. literary sub-council, fine arts, and hobbies sub-council. They provide you platform to showcase your extra-curricular activities. The main festivals are Mahotsva (fine arts and hobbies), Abhinandan (freshers), Magnam opus (literary), and Prabhanjhan (sports).
