LIBRARY

The College provides adequate library facilities to the staff and students. Selected valuable books recommended by the experts in the relevant fields are available in the Reference Hall while the library issues books for home reading. The college aims at increasing its quality stock of books progressively. The library subscribes to well-known journals and periodicals especially in the fields of science, technology and current affairs.

The college has spacious reading hall open for sixteen hours a day enabling the students, especially the hostilities, to study with concentration in a pleasant environment.
The library has 400 Sq. M. area. The library subscribes to 11 international journals, 38 national journals and 21 magazines. 12000 volumes are in stock at present, and are being added every year.

Hostel

Hostel - Infrastructure:

The hostel campus houses about -- boys & -- girl students. Further it comprises of hostel office, security room, and guest house of three rooms.

Hostel - Amenities:

1. The students are provided with basic amenities like cot, table, chair, cupboard in their rooms. The rooms are spacious, airy, and illuminated with the surroundings landscaped with greenery. The water supply is for 24 hours.
2. A generator ensures electric power supply to messes and common rooms.
3. The college gymkhana ground (about 6.5 acres) is near the hostel for playing cricket, hockey, volley ball, foot ball, basket ball, tennis and jogging.
4. The Volleyball are floodlit allowing students to play late in the evening.
5. There is a internet lab with 50 machines for both boys and girls with 4 Mbps connectivity.
6. The hostel campus maintenance like cleaning /sweeping, pest control is out sourced. The electrical repairs and security services are round the clock.

Hostel - Dispensary:

A facility of visiting doctor with a separate dispensary block within the hostel premises is available. Separate Doctors are available for boys and girls.

Hostel - Telephone Booth:

A 24/7 telephone booth with STD/ ISD facility is available in the Hostel. 

Transportation:

They have 10 Buses from various locations which are capable of transporting more than 500 students at a time.

Internet Facility:

The Internet facility with 4 Mbps Leased line is made available 24 hours for the Students and Faculty. They have 40 systems for Internet Lab and 10 systems for Research Lab.

Canteen & Mess

Spacious and well-equipped canteen facility is available at BMIT's campus. A complete and planned meal is served in neat, clean and hygienic surroundings. Apart from north and south Indian nutritious break-fast, lunch and dinner, the canteen also serves appetizing Chinese food. Tea, coffee and soft drinks along with snacks are also available. All the items are reasonably priced. Monthly Mess facility is also available for the students as well as staff members.
