• The training and placement [T&P] cell is responsible for on-campus recruitments.
• The T&P cell is assisted by student placement co-ordinators assisted by placement representatives.
• The cell is headed by a full-time training and placement officer.
• The T&P cell is the interface between the institute and the industry.
• Besides placement, the T&P cell is responsible for guest lectures, corporate training, seminar, workshops.
• These events help strengthen relations between industry and college and eventually help with placements.
• Personality development, career guidance, and counseling programs are also organized by the T&P cell.
• Group discussions, mock interviews, and aptitude tests are conducted to prepare students for recruitments.
• The cell at times interacts with the industry to get inputs and review of the curriculum.
• At times corporate meets are organized to assess the requirement of the industry and gives students insight into the workings of the industry.
