Academics & Faculty : The daily routine is fine in Bipin Chandra Tripathi Kumaon Engineering College, Almora.  Method of teaching is really poor. Instead who will teach when there are no faculties left over. Imagine it how poor it would be .The class commences on time but MTech students are asked to teach us for most of the time. My experience in college was good. I have learnt so many things specially how to survive in such kind of worst atmosphere. Frankly, it's like Survival in our college means survival in any part of the world.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for the admissions in Bipin Chandra Tripathi Kumaon Engineering College, Almora follows getting good rank in JEE MAIN before it was known as AIEEE. I have scored good rank in that exam and unfortunately got admission in this college in the respective discipline. The cutoff rank for that exam was 460( state rank)

Placements & Internships : Yes, i have done my internships from IIT GUWAHATI AND TATA MOTORS LTD. No i didn't recieved any stipend. Most IT companies hire from our college Bipin Chandra Tripathi Kumaon Engineering College, Almora. The average salary is around 3.5-4 lacs.  Highest was around 9 lacs .For mechanical its a tough question to answer because core companies do not hire from our college.

Fees & Scholarships : The course fee is Rs. 43000(in round figures) for a year in Bipin Chandra Tripathi Kumaon Engineering College, Almora. Being in a general category I don't receive any scholarship but yes other category students do receive a huge amount , no matter how poor they are in studies. Beside general students, everyone gets scholarships. Yes, definitely people like us, who are from middle class need rupees to study. I know how difficul was it for me to manage up money. It is a difficult task to avail loan from banks if needed. Bank did not provide me with the loan.

Clubs & Associations : No, there is no such club or association in Bipin Chandra Tripathi Kumaon Engineering College, Almora. The main festival for campus is AAROHAN  Being very frank, life is just fine. It is not like very awesome very good and even we can't say it too bad also. So I would add only fine. There are no faculties , no books in the library, simply useless sick everything. 

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are around 12 hostels in Bipin Chandra Tripathi Kumaon Engineering College, Almora. Yes, 12 exactly. The hostels are so poorly maintained, the food is just sick, very very poor quality of food is served in the hostel mess. Toilets are sometimes not even cleaned for months. The hostel fees are Rs.11000(in round figures). There are no available options for PG, the college is in mountains and especially in that location which is really isolated from cities, you  yourself can imagine what would be available options for PG now. As told , the food is YUCK, rather than getting inside it straightly comes out of my mouth. Is that a food? It tastes horrible. Anyone would get sick after eating that. Yeah, classrooms are fine. Do we have labs also? Yes, i remember 1 or 2. Libraries are worst. Poor wifi connectivity.
