Bharat Institute of Management Studies run under 'Bharat Group of Colleges' approved by Punjab Govt. and affiliated to Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, is the first Institute to run regular Management courses in the area of Mansa district. Bharat Institute of Management Studies run courses like BCA, B.Sc. (IT), BBA to serve the students of this backward area. Thus, BCA & B.Sc. (IT) courses prepare the rural students to develop and prepare documents, projects presentations, design websites and demonstrate skills in running software programs.

Inspire of the face that the Institute was established only a few years back, it has created niche in the field of studies. Students not only scared excellent marks in the first year but also received numerous prizes and awards in sports and other extra-curricular activates.

The department adopts a policy in which a strong focus is given to students' academic performance and overall personality development. Active participation in Youth Festival was appreciated by the educationist of the area. Bhangra team of the Institute got third prize at the national level 'Scintillo-2010' program organized at Faridkot (Punjab). In sports, Institute cricket team actively participated in the inter-institute sports match at GTB Chhappionwali (Malout).
