BKNMU, Bhakta Kavi Narsinh Mehta University, is a public university in Junagadh, Gujarat. BKNMU offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses in Applied Sciences, Humanities, Education, Commerce and Social Work. The admissions to the UG and PG courses are based on merit. Admissions to PhD courses are based on PET examination.

BKNMU, or Bhakta Kavi Narsinh Mehta University, is a UGC-recognised and AICTE-approved university. BKNMU has 157 affiliated colleges, grant-in-aid and self-finance colleges and 43 postgraduate centres that cater to over 90,000 students. BKNMU Admission

BKNMU offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. These include BA, BSc, BCom, BEd, MEd, MA, MSc, MCom, and PhD. Admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes are merit-based, and PhD courses are based on PET scores. The admission process is conducted online on the official website.

BKNMU Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the courses at BKNMU, the students must meet the eligibility criteria laid down by the institute.

BA/BCom/BSc Eligibility Criteria

• The student must have passed the 10+2 examination with 50% marks from a recognized board.

MSc Eligibility Criteria

• The student must have passed Graduation in Botany, Microbiology or Zoology as a core subject from any University with a minimum of 50 % of marks in aggregate or equivalent grade point.

• The student must have passed postgraduation in a relevant subject from any recognized board/university with a minimum of 50 % of marks in aggregate or equivalent grade point.

BKNMU Faculty

BKNMU has a strength of 23 teachers spread across five departments. The faculty is highly adept and hold PhD degrees as well.
