Hostel

• There are 8 hostels for boys (one is under construction) and 9 hostels for girls (one is under construction) in the university's hostel system. The hostels are large, with well-appointed rooms and a separate communal mess that serves sanitary meals at a reasonable price. 
• Berhampur University hostels also offer 24-hour security and recreational amenities, such as DTH-connected televisions, indoor and outdoor activities, a gym, a study area with daily newspapers and magazines, Wi-Fi, and filtered aqua-guard drinking water. 
• Two wardens are in charge of the hostel administration. Banks, post offices, indoor and outdoor stadiums, medicine shops, canteens, and a market are within walking distance of the hostel. 
• In addition, each hostel has one superintendent, two assistant superintendents, one office assistant, and one caretaker to oversee the border's residential lives.

Healthcare Centre

• Berhampur University has a health centre to satisfy the health care needs of the students and inhabitants. 
• It includes allopathic and homeopathic treatment facilities for preventive and therapeutic health care. 
• Furthermore, the service is extended to students, staff, families and the general population in the surrounding villages.

Library

• The Berhampur University library was founded in 1968 to fulfil the rising demands of students, teachers, and research scientists. 
• It has over 1,48,721 volumes of books and other materials in Science & Technology, Management, Humanities, and Social Sciences, including popular magazines, print journals, theses, and reports. 
• In addition, it provides access to 2,03,600 e-books, e-journals, and other electronic reading resources.

Sports Facilities

• Every year, summer coaching camps in various disciplines are organised. During coaching camps, several types of equipment are offered for various games.
• Students have access to a common room and separate restrooms for men and women at the university.

Staff Quarters

• Berhampur University offers housing to teaching and non-teaching staff members.
• The accommodations are equipped with modern amenities. 
• The university's personnel security wings patrol the grounds at night to ensure safety and security. 
• For their daily requirements, the locals have easy access to the market. Residents have access to medical services and an ambulance service in an emergency. 
• Local buses provide transportation to several locations within and outside of the city. The university bus service to Berhampur city and Chatrapur is also offered regularly.

Transport

• Berhampur University transport facility operates a fleet of buses.

• Students must pay transportation fees at the time of enrollment. 
• During departmental picnics, the university buses are available for students and staff to travel to a picnic location within a 100-kilometre radius. Buses are made accessible to the concerned department for the convenience of the participants, even during departmental seminars.

Canteen

• The canteen is run by commercial companies that the university authority has approved. It works seven days a week. The canteen serves vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals as well as snacks.

Security

• Berhampur University facilities include a protection department responsible for providing security and safety to campus residents, including students, instructors, scholars, and staff. 
• It is led by a Government of Odisha with DSP rank, one security advisor, one campus supervisor, and 12 watchmen as a backup.

Guest House

• The Berhampur University infrastructure has a guest house accommodating guests and other dignitaries. 
• It offers a good catering service at a reasonable price. With a total capacity of 20, the hotel offers several room types, including 04 double ac rooms, 04 single ac rooms, 04 single non-ac rooms, and 02 VIP rooms that meet national and international standards.
• There is a lounge in the dining hall. It provides services for the university's different programmes and functions throughout the year.

Temple Complex

• The temple complex has a 'Mahavir Hanuman Mandir' and 'Ram Mandir'. It is a site where the university and adjacent village residents assemble religiously to celebrate numerous Hindu festivals and rites with tremendous zeal.
