There is a fest Nazarene which is popular among all the colleges of Lucknow University
There is no hostel facilities. Canteen food is really awesome classrooms are also okay
For Bcom classes are from 8:30-11:30. U have to be regular to college. I think after National pg college it is the second-best college of Lucknow for both BCom and ba in this college there are a lot of clubs are there. U can also join NCC and NSS u get really good senior officers in NCC and u can join the camp of NSS organised in college. Quality education is something u can get in this college it really trusts me I have seen teachers of other colleges but this is really good college. My overall experience is really nice about AGDC
Avadh Girls' Degree College, [AGDC] Lucknow Fee Structure. Fees of Avadh Girls' Degree College is:
Fees for Bcom is around 22000 for whole year there is no semester payment. 22,000 is for ur first-year u have it pay full amount together
Look the college does not offer any professional courses it is the college only for commerce and arts so it have no placement opportunities hence it's not everything about getting placement it is really more than what u think on every single day every staff member of this college give their 100% which far more than anything this college is judged on the basis of its infrastructure so let me ask u a question girls u are going to take ur college infrastructure with u? ln Lucknow hardly any college give placement after BCom so try to be on a good place not on the basis of large beautiful building those are walls this college can make ur career wall.
The eligibility criteria is u should have 10 + 2 certificate and secure at least 75 -80 % in your 12th grade it can confirm your admission in AGDC because if u have scored well in ur 12th u get preference in admission and your chances increases there is no entrance u will be called for interview on the basis of percentile ranking u get preference in admission for Bcom the cutoffs starts from 95%+ so for getting admission in BCom it is important to secure at least 75% in 12th grade for BA cutoffs are low and for BCom, every list have high cutoffs
There are many clubs. NCC, drama club, Eco restoration club and many others. There is an annual function every year. The life in college is good as the timing are so suitable that we can easily join the academics as well as the cultural activities as well
I don't know as I have not opted for it. Food is also good as there is a canteen system. Classroom are well conditioned. Libraries and computer are air conditioned. There is a basketball court also. There is auditorium also. And there are many clubs also.
Exams are semester wise. Timing for bcom is 8:20 -11 am. Assignments and projects are given after every 6 months. The quality and method of teaching is good. Teacher first explain the topic then give the notes and then asks the students is they had problems. My overall experience is very good. I love the college

Yes there are many clubs like sports, fine arts, eco-restoration, entertainment, literary club and many more. There is equal division in festivals on campus.. There are seminars of any subject or any occasion.
The PG cost is INR 5000 per month per girl. Food is okay type. Classes yet to be renovated and the facility of more air inside the classroom should be maintained as classes are small and the students are more, so the problem of suffocation is felt
Teachers come on time in class, project works are done on time and taken by them timely Teachers of my college are well experienced. Maximum are pHD holder in their field... And they have good knowledge of their subject... Their method to teach us is really good.

There are several clubs like photography dramatics entertainment etc. There is an annual festival Nazrana-e-avadh.
The college does not have hostel facility. There is a college canteen that sells basic food not really great but the prices are pocket-friendly. The classrooms are equipped with proper white boards. The library is really huge and has a big collection of books on various topics. Wi-Fi is available in the college as well.
Classes were regular the teachers were helpful as well but the number of students who actually attend the classes is very less. The college operates in two batches the first batch begins at around 8 am and the second at around 10 am. This batch system is only for B.com though. The overall experience in the college was just about average. One more thing that I would like to mention is there is a lot of favouritism in the college mostly the students who are a member of the college council are given preference in any event and that is a big downfall.
The fee is not very high. I paid INR 16000 in the first year and INR 18000 in the second and third year for a b.com course.
Placements are not provided in this college. Alumni network is strong.
The admission was done on the basis of a merit list. There was no entrance exam. I enrolled in the year 2015 for B.com that is a three-year course. The cut off for general category was around 72-75%.
There are various clubs like photography, singing, dancing, fine arts and much more. NSS is also a club in which anybody can participate. Cultural fest in which various competitions are held which continues for 1 week. Freshers, farewell, fashion show, fate, awards day, teachers day, dandiya party, and the Avadhite are some of the fests that are conducted and the life at the college is good.
There is no hostel in the college and the size of the classroom is very small.
Classes start from 8 am to 3 pm and the assignment and projects are given by the teacher, the overall experience is good.
The fee is INR 18110 and there are many scholarships options for students whose family's yearly income is less than INR 180000.
There is no internships and placements in the college.
12th passed with commerce or economics with minimum 70% and after that, you will be invited according to the cut off for an interview session.
The eligibility criteria at Avadh Girls' Degree College, [AGDC] Lucknow is 10th and 10+2 marks secured, I would like to mention the college not only selects students according to the marks secured in 10+2 but gives equal attention to the marks secured in 10th the facluties in-charge for interviews are very polite and humble and not only consider academics but co-curricular activites too this promotes and motivates students to build interest in activities others than studies it enhances the students to become all-rounder which has incentives for students in the future, the college also organises different competetions for entertainment and giving opportunities to students in the outside world.
