Assam Don Bosco University will conduct admissions at various cities in 2021. Candidates desirous of taking admission into any of the programmes of the University (except B.Tech (Lateral Entry) and M.Tech) are requested to contact the University officials when they visit the cities.
Admission will be given (subject to availability of seats) based on the performance at Entrance Test / Personal Interview as required for the programmes.
Candidates will be required to fill up the application form and pay the admission fees to take admission. The balance fees may be paid online or at the offices of the University according to the schedule informed at the time of admission.
Candidates for Master’s Degree programmes, whose Degree results are not yet available, may also take admission. Their admission will be provisional until they furnish evidence of fulfilling the eligibility criteria stated in the prospectus within 3 months of the commencement of the programme in Assam Don Bosco University, Guwahati 2021
The admissions will be given on a first-come-first-served basis into preferred branches (according to the availability of seats) from the date the candidates fulfil eligibility criteria, i.e., have the result of the qualifying examination and a valid entrance test.
BCA / B.Com / BA (Honours)
Admissions will be given on a first-come-first-served basis to candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria after the results of the qualifying examinations are declared.
B.Tech All domains:
The candidate should have passed Higher Secondary School Leaving Examination (or Equivalent) with 45% of the aggregate and 45% of the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized University to get Assam Don Bosco University, Guwahati admissions 2021.
The applicant should appear in Don Bosco University Graduate Entrance Test or JEE (Main) or any State Entrance Test and clear it with minimum cutoff marks decided by the University.
B.Tech Lateral Entry:
The candidate should have passed in 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate marks.
Appliacts are required to clear 10+2 with at least 45% aggregate marks.
The candidate must holdve a graduation in any stream with a minimum of 50% of the aggregate marks.
The candidate should have pass marks in Mathematics or equivalent at the 10+2 or graduation level.
Candidates must appear for an Entrance Test – Don Bosco University Post Graduate Entrance Test (DBUPGET) for MCA and a personal Interview.
Provisional Admission: Applicants who have not yet obtained their Bachelor’s degree also may apply for admission. Such candidates will be offered provisional admission until they furnish evidence of fulfilling the declared minimum qualification.
The applicant must have a Graduation in Science with 50% of the aggregate and Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics as a subject. Candidates with honours in Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics will have an advantage.

BCA (Bachelors of Computer Applications):
The candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary School Examination in any stream with 45% in the aggregate. Those who have studied 10+2 in Mathematics will have an advantage.
The candidate should appear and clear the personal interview conducted for the admission.
The eligibility criteria are at least 45% aggregate marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics. I got admission from JEE mains marks. 45% in physics, chemistry and mathematics
One needed to score more than 70 and an interview was conducted to see if one was capable to pursue the chosen course or not and had the basic knowledge of the chosen course.
Eligibility criteria is minimum 47% in PCM, we can also get through the University entrance tests.
