AICTE – Saksham Scholarship Scheme For Specially Abled Student (Degree) 

• Saksham is an MHRD Scheme that AICTE is implementing to encourage and support specially-abled children to pursue technical education. This is an attempt to provide every young student who is otherwise specially-abled with the opportunity to further their education and prepare for a successful future through technical education/knowledge.

Eligibility

• The candidate should be admitted to the first year of a degree level course or the second year of a degree-level course through lateral entry in any AICTE approved institution for the relevant year.
• A specially-abled student with a disability of at least 40%.
• During the current fiscal year, family income from all sources should not exceed Rs 8 lakh. A valid income certificate issued by the state or territory government must be enclosed.

Number of Scholarships

• All specially-abled students admitted to the first year of a degree course or the second year of a degree course in Aravali College of Engineering and Management through lateral entry in any AICTE approved institution will be eligible for the ACEM Faridabad scholarship.

Amount of Scholarship

• Rs 50,000 per year of study, up to a maximum of four years for first-year admitted students and three years for second-year admitted students via lateral entry, as a lump sum payment towards college fees, stationery, books, equipment, software, and more.
• There will be no other grants available in lieu of hostel and medical fees, etc.
• When applying for the above benefits, no documentary proof is required.

AICTE – Pragati Scholarship Scheme for Girls Students

• AICTE is implementing a scheme to assist girls pursuing technical education in their advancement. The goal is to provide young women with the opportunity to further their education and prepare for a successful future.

Eligibility

• The female candidate should be admitted to the first year of a degree level course or the second year of a degree-level course through lateral entry in any AICTE approved institution of the relevant year.
• A maximum of two girl children is allowed per family.
• During the current fiscal year, family income from all sources should not exceed Rs. 8 lakh. A valid income certificate issued by the state or territory government must be enclosed.
