Infrastructure Facilities at Anna Adarsh College for Women, Chennai:

Anna Adarsh College for Women has a state of the art infrastructure. The three-storied, double-winged building has all the facilities required for students. The college has an MCA block that has 94 classrooms and Laboratories such as Chemistry, Microbiology, Physics and Physiology lab for the science field. The main purpose of the MCA and other labs is to enhance the knowledge in the scientific field with the help of the latest technology. The college also focuses on practical and industrial exposure of the candidate along with theoretical knowledge.

 Library:

The library at Anna Adarsh College for Women is known as the information center. The college library fulfills the needs of the students as well as the faculty members. Spread over in an area of “69X33" which has a seating capacity of 155 students. The books available in the library are from Business, Science and Technology related. Apart from books, the library has a vast collection of journals related to travel and technology.

46,000 books, 38 magazines, 50 subscribed journals are present in the library. Online journals are also available in the form of CDs, DVDs.  The library also has computers connected to the internet for browsing and collecting information. 

Canteen:

Keeping health and hygiene in mind as a priority, the college has provided a canteen which serves good quality hygenic food. The canteen is air-conditioned and has a small separate space for coffee stall. These two spots are a perfect place for a student to relax during breaks. The college authorities have installed water coolers for purified drinking water. 

College Ground: 

The college has a ground which serves as a host for sports tournaments, outdoor meetings. 

Auditorium:

The college auditorium has a capacity of 1300 students. It hosts several indoor meetings, seminar and cultural events. The auditorium is fully air-conditioned. 

Conference Hall:

The college conference hall has a seating capacity of 300 members. Various meetings, seminars, presentations and discussions are conducted in the conference hall.

Hostel:

The women's hostel inside the college campus is well maintained and equipped with basic amenities for students. The food served is also hygienic. There are 89 rooms which are used as hostels. All the rooms have entertainment facilities and have hot water supply as well.
