ANITS Infrastructure: Library, Labs, Gym, Auditorium, Cafeteria & Other Facilities

LIBRARY

The fully automated central library, established in October 2001, is a proud partner in the institute's march towards its vision playing a vital role in acquisition, organization and dissemination of knowledge. As a knowledge hub of ANITS, it offers a package of services, an ambience that is extremely conducive for assimilation and creation of new knowledge. The main thrust of the library continues to be the improvement of the quality of services and facilities, achieving higher degree of user's satisfaction and modernization of its activities and operations.

HOSTEL

ANITS has hostel accommodation for boys and girls separately with excellent infrastructural facilities and situated in the college campus. The Boys’ Hostel can accommodate 500 inmates and Girls’ Hostel with a capacity of accommodating 300 inmates. Air-conditioning facility is also available in both the Hostels.

CAFETERIA

The institute has a highly hygienically maintained canteen which supplies tiffin, coffee, tea, cool drinks, snacks and lunch to the students and staff at subsidized prices. The canteen has an area of 3,410 sq.ft. It is kept open from 9 A.M. to 5.30 P.M. on all working days.

INTERNET

ANITS has excellent computational and support facilities in the form of a campus-wide Local Area Network and departmental computer centres with a number of licensed and specialized software packages to meet their specific requirements. It has a 10 Mbps 1:1 Leased Line and 40 Mbps NMEICT (National Mission on Education Through Information and Communication Technology), MHRD, Connectivity provided by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). With present student strength of 2100 and with 635 systems, the computer-to-student ratio works out to approximately 1:3.

MEDICAL

Anil Neerukonda Educational Society has been running Anil Neerukonda Hospital a 300-bed hospital with about 12 specialist doctors and excellent diagnostic and infrastructural facilities in the area adjoining ANITS campus. This has been operational for the last 4 years and ANITS students and staff can avail themselves of this facility.
