All India Institute of Medical Sciences, [AIIMS] Mangalagiri was established in 2018 by Government under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna. The college is providing excellent medical education in developing areas of the country. All India Institution of Medical Sciences Mangalagiri is now functioning in a temporary campus at Government Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada. The temporary campus provides facilities like administration block, new academic blocks for 8 departments, lecture halls, virtual classrooms with integrated Audiovisual facilities, demonstration rooms, common rooms for both boys and girls, shared laboratories and dissection halls, new equipment for laboratories and dissection halls, library and hostels.

Other facilities on the temporary campus at Government Siddhartha Medical College are post office, bank (Syndicate Bank), transportation facilities.
