AMU University Placements: The Aligarh Muslim University, [AMU] Aligarh Training & Placement Office (General) looks after the Campus & off campus Placements of all the Non-Engineering Courses of the University & Coordinates with the respective departmental TPO's regarding the Placement & related activities.
The key functions of the Training & Placement Office (General): Dissemination of Job-related information in the respective Departments of the University. Organizing Job awareness related workshops in both Govt. and Pvt. Sector for the students of different courses Providing placement training to the job seekers like Mock Group Discussions, Interviews, and CV writing sessions, followed by Placements. Runs a Career Forum (a student- TPO initiative) where the students are provided career Counselling, Job training & exposure to the guest lectures. Invites speakers from the corporate world for the Guidance & Motivation of the students. Organizes Technical Training Workshops for the students in association with the leading training organizations. Organize Job & Career Fairs. In order to inculcate the Entrepreneurship skills amongst the students, organizes Workshops for the students of technical and non-technical courses on the themes like How to be an Entrepreneur in association with the District Industrial Centre and NSIC, Aligarh. Organises various creativity-oriented student activities under the aegis of XFI Solutions Australia, Google student club, AISEC, & Career Awareness Forum. Organizes lectures on soft skills for the students of different courses. The college provides the number of students is placed in every year.

Yes, I have done so many Internships in Civil Courts and High Courts including Patna & Calcutta High Court and all of them were non-stipend. Placements in our Faculty is not as good as in other NLUs because in our faculty the syllabus is UPSC and Judiciary based. More than half students are UPSC and PCS(J) aspirants. Corporate sectors aspirants are very low in number and even when companies come for placements purposes, the interested students' participation is also very low upon which our Faculty has started taking due concerns so that this difficulty would not arise in coming sessions.
