Hostel: The Alagappa University hostel facilities are separate for boys and girls, accommodating over 1200 students, including overseas students. The rooms are well furnished, and students are provided with English and Tamil Magazines and newspapers. In addition, one recreation room with a TV is available in each Alagappa University hostel.

Library: The Alagappa University Karaikudi has a central library that includes one lakh volumes of printed books, subscriptions to 149 printed periodicals, 492 non-book materials, and 1446 volumes of theses in printed form. The Alagappa University library has access to more than 6242 online journals, and 1,31,000 e-theses are also available. The AU Karaikudi infrastructure has a floor space of 2012 square meters for the library, accommodating more than 200 candidates at once. 

Auditorium: The Alagappa University infrastructure includes a seminar hall equipped with ac, lighting arrangements, 250 KVA generator systems, acoustic systems, and a comfortable cushion seating arrangement. The auditorium can accommodate 775 candidates and provides a beautiful park available a view.

Wi-Fi Facilities: The Alagappa University infrastructure includes state-of-the-art IT infrastructure, computing, and communication resources. They offer students the facilities like e-mail, net surfing, and downloading web-based applications, besides helping them prepare projects & seminars. The IT Infrastructure details of AU Karaikudi are as follows:

• Alagappa University Karaikudi has a 40 Mbps (1:1) BSNL leased line internet facility and 1 Gbps NKN connectivity, out of which 100 Mbps internet leased BSNL provides line connectivity.
• It has a 24X7 Wi-Fi facility on the campus for the AU Karaikudi students and faculty members to avail internet connection at specified Wi-Fi hotspot locations of the hostel, academic blocks, administrative blocks and guest house.
• Alagappa University facilities include about 53 Wi-Fi outdoor access points, 35 indoor access points, and 3 Wi-Fi controllers serving the Wi-Fi needs of the campus.

Yoga Centre: Yoga aims to enhance awareness, self-regulation and higher consciousness in the individual. The college is well aware and provides a state of art yoga centre for regular yoga practice in the Alagappa University campus area.

Canteen: The Alagappa University canteen facilities are spread across 2,200sq.ft. area. There are separate cabins for faculty members and students and common usage in the canteen. The canteen offers the best quality food at an affordable price to offer students a better environment. The cafeteria is properly drained through the drainages under proper waste management arrangements. 

Health Care Facility: Alagappa University infrastructure includes a health care centre that provides free treatment to university students, faculty, and non-teaching staff. It organises compulsory general medical checkup camps for all Alagappa University Karaikudi members.
