CBSE extends class 10th and 12th application admission date for private candidates!

Central Board of Secondary Education has recently announced good news for class 10th and 12th students. The board has decided to extend the deadline for submitting class 10th and 12th application forms for private candidates. The link to fill the form will be available from 22nd February 2021 to 25th February 2021 till 5 PM. Moreover, candidates are advised to follow the instructions given below while filling the application forms:

  1. Candidates must fill in the correct information in the form.
  2. The form has to be filled in online mode.
  3. Candidates might have to pay some late fee if applicable.
  4. No further extension on filling and submission of application forms.
  5. Choose the right exam centre carefully as no changes will be allowed.

Private candidates who wish to apply for class 10th and 12th examinations can still submit the application forms before the given deadline. CBSE 10th exams will commence between 4th May 2021 and 7th June 2021 whereas the practical exams will begin from 1st March 2021. Moreover, CBSE 12th exams will start between 4th May 2021 and 10th June 2021. Students must visit the official website - cbse.gov.in or this page to stay updated!

CBSE has now extended the dates for the schools to submit the left out LOC for their students. The school can also make corrections to the registration/LOC already filled during this period. Schools can complete these exercises from 18th February 2021 to 20th February 2021.

CBSE Registration Fee for 2020-2021:

CBSE has increased the registration fee for classes 10th as well as 12th. The Board has increased the costs for different categories ranging from Rs 50/- to Rs 1200/-. As per the latest announcement, general category candidates will have to pay Rs 1500/- whereas ST/SC candidates should pay Rs 1200/- for five subjects. The fee is applicable for both classes 10th and 12th. General category candidates will have to pay Rs 300/- for additional subjects instead of Rs 150/- earlier.

How to Complete CBSE 10th Registration 2021?

Regular candidates cannot register themselves for the 10th Board examination. Therefore, candidates must approach their school authority to perform CBSE 10th registration 2021. After that, the school authority performed the online registration procedure. The following are the steps mentioned to apply online for the Board examination.

Step 1: Private candidates should visit the CBSE website – cbse.nic.in and click on "Click for CBSE website"

Step 2: From the tab on the left side of the page, select the type of examination.

Step 3: Options will be shown as "Compartment", "Improvement", "Failure", or "Additional Subject".

Step 4: Enter the Board examination number where you need to enter "5-digit School Number" along with the "Center Number" and select the standard as 10th.

Step 5: Proceed and pay the examination fees.

Step 6: Check the particulars filled in the form and then click on the "Submit" button.

Step 7: Take the printout of the submitted form for further reference.

How to Register for CBSE 12th Board exam 2021?

Regular candidates cannot register by themselves on the official website for the Board examination. Therefore, candidates must approach their school authority for CBSE 12th registration 2021. The school authority will perform the step by step procedure mentioned below for each candidate to register them for the 12th Board exam.

Step 1: Visit the official CBSE website of the Board – cbse.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the "CBSE Website" link on the landing page.

Step 3: CBSE website home page will open. Now scroll down and click on the e-PAREEKSHA link.cbse 12th board exam registration 2021

Step 4: A new page will open with various links. Select the "ONLINE REGISTRATION CARD FOR CLASS X/XI" link.

Step 5: The authentication screen will appear. Provide credentials such as your "User ID" and "Password" along with the Security Pin.

Step 6: Once all the details are entered, click on the "Login" button.

Step 7: Fill out the details of all the eligible candidates and finally submit the data on the website.

Instructions for CBSE Online Registration 2021 (Private Candidates)

  • The system will auto-generate the details for students who have already appeared for the previous year's Board examination. 

  • Students of 2020 (or prior) should submit their details again for the online CBSE registration form. 

  • Enter correct information such as Roll number, School number, and Centre number (as given in your mark sheet) of Board examination (not applicable for fresh female students). 

  • Students are only allowed to fill out one CBSE registration form.

  • If the submitted form has errors, resubmission of the new record is not allowed.

  •  Students must provide their mobile number, email ID in the correct format, and a valid postal address. 

  • Students filling out the CBSE registration form must upload scanned jpg files of their photo and signature. The file size should not exceed 40kb. 

  • Take utmost care while indicating the subject code as there is a higher number of subjects.

Fee Payment:

  • Payment of examination fees by CBSE is now only through digital payment methods such as Net Banking, Debit/Credit card (both national/ international). 

  • CBSE will not accept the fees via offline mode, i.e., DD/Postal Order/Money Order/Cheque. 

  • The Board will not accept the registration form without a fee. The respective banks will update the fees paid by the students on the CBSE website within 24 hours of payment. 

  • For transaction problems such as fees not reflecting on the CBSE server or website, the student should contact the respective bank. Contact details of the banks are available on the CBSE website.

Students must inform the following details to the bank for queries regarding payments:

  1. Mode of payment
  2. Fee reference No.
  3. Amount paid
  4. Date of payment
  5. Transaction number
  6. Your contact number

CBSE Registration Form 2021 Important Information

Once allotted, the examination center is final, and there will be no request for a change in the examination center. The Board will allow the examination center based on the current residential address of the applicant. Students will apply only to subjects that are auto-generated by the system. The Board will allow a new 'Roll Number' for students appearing for examinations in the current year. In no case will they enable the students to appear with their old Roll No. Eligible students can download their admit card from the official CBSE website. 

The local Regional Office will send the original marksheet/certificate to the student's residential address by speed post. Students appearing for Board exams can download their CBSE admit card from the official website - cbse.nic.in 

Marksheet/Certificate:

  • CBSE does not demand the original mark-sheet and certificate of the previous year's examination back.

  • Eligible students will receive a Scorecard of the 2021 examination immediately after the Board declares CBSE results.

  • CBSE will issue the certificates in June/July 2021 (tentative) to the students who pass the examination as per the CBSE criteria.

  • CBSE will issue a separate marksheet for students appearing for Improvement of Performance or Compartment subjects reflecting only the marks obtained in the said examination.

  • Candidates passing the Compartment examination in 2021 will get the consolidated marksheet.

  • The consolidated mark sheet will also contain scores obtained in the subjects passed in the previous examination and the marks obtained in the subjects that appeared in the Compartment examination.

CBSE Board Re-totaling & Re-evaluating Registration Form 2021

CBSE will provide the registration form for re-totaling and re-evaluation of the marks. Students who are not satisfied with their results can apply for it. Re-totalling is counting the marks of those students who are not happy with their results. If students feel that his/her scores are not as expected by them, they can apply for re-totaling. For this process, students need to apply for the online re-totaling process on the CBSE official website. Re-evaluating is the process of evaluating the answer sheet once again, which a student has written for a particular subject.

Students can apply for re-evaluation by filling out an online registration form for re-evaluation. Students can visit the CBSE office or the official website. CBSE CBSE re-totaling and re-evaluating registration for 2021 will begin after the declaration of the results.
