VGU will host the one-day-long Victor’s School Cup where more than 50 schools and 2,500 students are expected to take part in the 20 events that will be organised.
Thousands of students drawn from more than 50 schools will be thronging the lush green campus of Jaipur-based Vivekananda Global University, a NAAC A+ university, on 29th April 2023 to take part in the Victor’s School Cup, India’s first-ever school cup.
The event, which is one of its kind in the country, is primarily aimed at providing the school students with an inter-school platform to showcase their talents and pilot them into the world of creative art, sports, public speaking, life skills, NCC, and others.
Multiple events to be held at Victor's School Cup:
The one-day-long Victor’s School Cup will witness a host of competitive events in various fields, including sports, entrepreneurship, performance skills, life skills, visual arts, and design, NCC, and Scouts. More than 50 schools and 2,500 students are expected to take part in the event. The highlight of the event will be Celebrity Night, which will see performances by Bollywood stars along with musical bands.
This unique event, which is part of VGU’s efforts to provide holistic education to the students, is expected to reach out to over one lakh people and is planned through various state-level print, FM, and digital media platforms. Its benefits will be shared with all associates and partners through professional media and branding teams. According to the organizers, the event seeks to provide an opportunity for students to showcase their abilities, compete with their classmates, and exchange knowledge. In addition, it will promote the spirit of sportsmanship and healthy competition among the students, which are fundamental principles of all-around education.
Students, parents, and the general public have exhibited tremendous enthusiasm about the event, which is expected to attract a large audience. To guarantee the safety and security of all participants and spectators, the organizers have taken the necessary security measures. The conduct of the Victor’s School Cup is sure to be a huge success. The occasion provides a venue for students to showcase their skills, share knowledge, and encourage healthy competition and the spirit of sportsmanship.
The event has been thoughtfully planned and executed by the organizers, who have done a wonderful job of creating something that will be remembered by all who attend. A registration fee will not be charged for participation.
Flow of the Event:
Each school team will have to appoint a team manager (teacher in charge), a team captain (student in charge), and category-wise heads (6 students) who shall be SPOC for all event communications and any decisions on behalf of the school related to participation and any dispute arising thereof. There are 20 events in six categories: performing arts, life skills, sports, visual arts, and design, entrepreneurship, NCC, and scouts and guides. A student can participate in only one event.
All teams are required to register for the event through the digital registration form on the event website. School teams must carry along and provide a list of participants under each category, duly signed by the principal or authorized signatory, on the event date. It is mandatory for any school to participate in at least 10 events to be eligible for the Victor’s School Cup trophy. The category-wise trophy shall be awarded to the team with the highest points tally in the category.
Inter-school event participation certificates will be provided to all participants. A letter of appreciation and a hamper of goodies shall be provided to the team manager, captain, and category-wise heads. All participating schools shall be acknowledged for their presence with event mementos and selected entry passes to the grand closing ceremony.
VGU, which has carved a niche for itself among the host of higher educational institutions, not only in Rajasthan but also in the country, has a history of academic and extracurricular achievements, and this event only bears testimony to its dedication to encouraging the all-round development of its students.
