In the presence of the 14th President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, the Maharaja Agrasen Technical Education Society, New Delhi, commemorated 25 years of excellence in education and began its Silver Jubilee celebrations.
In his keynote address, the Hon'ble 14th President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, congratulated all members of MATES on the Silver Jubilee Celebrations and extended his best wishes for the launch of MATES' Fourth Institution, Maharaja Agrasen Business School (MABS), Rohini, approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Govt. of India, New Delhi. He stated that Maharaja Agrasen, the essence of generosity, has left an indelible impact across ages with his steadfast devotion to social welfare. His legacy is carried on through the Maharaja Agrasen Technical Education Society (MATES), which advocates educational issues while improving lives and futures.
Hon'ble Shri Ram Nath Kovind ji praised MATES's commitment to society and congratulated the incoming students. He emphasized citizens' civic obligation to others who are less fortunate. He encouraged pupils to experience the thrill of giving and sharing with others. He praised MATES for following in the footsteps of Maharaja Agrasen, the great ruler known for encouraging the joy of sharing among his subjects.
Dr. Nand Kishore Garg, Founder Chairman, MATES, Hon'ble Chancellor, Maharaja Agrasen University (MAU), Himachal Pradesh, shared with the audience at the inaugural event that MATES and all its institutions, MAU, MAIT, MAIMS, and MABS, have planned yearlong celebrations to commemorate the 25-year journey. Dr. Garg welcomed everyone on behalf of the university's 10500 students, 500 teachers and staff, and 200 trustees. He stated that 21623 students have graduated from MATES institutes in the previous 24 years.
Various eminent personalities, including Sh. Vineet Kr. Lohia, (Chairman MATES), Prof. (Dr.) Mahesh Kumar Verma (VC GGSIPU, Delhi), Prof. (Dr.) Yogesh Singh (VC Delhi University), Shri S.P. Aggarwal, IAS (Retd.) (Exec. Chairman MATES), Sh. Sunder Lal Goel (Senior Vice Chairman) Sh. Jagdish Mittal, (Vice Chairman MATES), Sh. Gian Aggarwal (Vice Chairman, MATES), Sh. Anand Gupta (Treasurer MATES), Prof. (Dr.) R. K. Gupta (Vice Chancellor MAU, Himachal Pradesh), Prof. (Dr.) Neelam Sharma (Director of MAIT) and other esteemed personalities attended the event.
To equip Tomorrow's Leaders The 14th President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, opened the Maharaja Agrasen Business School (MABS). The Maharaja Agrasen Business School has received authorization from the AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), Ministry of Education, Government of India, to operate a two-year full-time PGDM program. MABS aims to forge new paths in education for the New Age Business Landscape.
