It was the year of 1997 when Rungta Educational Society was established to achieve creative, employable and skilled students. The Educational Society has institutions in Bhilai and Raipur. All the institutions under Rungta Group of Colleges are recognized by Government organizations, such as All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), National Board of Accreditation (NBA), State Council of Educational Research & Training (SCERT) etc. as per law.

The Rungta Group of Colleges offers many opportunities to students when it comes to academic programs, extra-curricular, and co-curriculum activities. Rungta Group of Institutions was ranked number 1 in the state by CSR 2015 for MBA. Last year, ‘Outlook’ has ranked the group of institutions in the 34^th place, and they also top the list surveyed by ‘Business Today’ (2015) for MBA. The Rungta Group of Institutions was ranked 5 Star in India by ‘Pioneer Newspaper’ 2016 for the department of Engineering.

State-of-the-art Campuses – Bhilai and Raipur 

Rungta Group of Education possesses two campuses – one in Bhilai and the other in Raipur. Both the campuses were built with a vision to provide the students an environment that will help them to learn better and faster. The campuses are spread across 150+ acres and have conventional classrooms, e classrooms, and tutorial rooms. E classrooms are the results of the implementation of Educational Technology in the curriculum. The classrooms are modified and built with LCDs, Tablets, PCs, and IP Cameras.

They are one of the few institutions to have Open air theaters and Open air stages which can accommodate more than 10000 students at once. They have an advanced library that provides the accessibility to the world’s best online journals like Elsevier, J- Gate, Delnet etc. for the students.

They have hostel facilities for more than 2000 students who are away from home. There are separate hostels for both boys and girls. Female students are provided with accommodation inside the college premises itself. Both the hostels have wardens and guards ensuring the security of the students. The common area in the dorms is provided with a couch and a TV which serves the entertainment purpose. Apart from the hostel facilities, the campuses have state-of-the-art laboratories, sports facilities, medical facilities, ATM facilities etc.

The Rungta Educational Society takes pride in having the highest number of candidates selected from their educational institutions year after year. It has been amounted to more than 1200 offers from leading companies like Sony, LG, Accenture, Tech Mahindra BPS, HCL, Justdial, Nestle, British Telecom, Azim Premji Foundation, Amazon, etc. The highest salary package offered was rupees 7.5 LPA. The total amount of salary packages offered to the students previous year, amounts to 497 million INR.

The have exclusively created a separate unit called as Innovative Institute-Industry-Interaction that guides the students to learn all that the companies and industries require. It also helps the industries to work on the educational curriculum that helps the students to adapt and upgrade to the necessities of what the world requires in the near future.
