Results for Phase 1 of the NEST 2017 by Lovely Professional University has been declared:

Jalandhar: Lovely Professional University has declared result for the Phase 1 of its entrance and scholarship test 'NEST 2017'. This test was conducted for the admission to university's B.Tech, Design, Hotel Management MBA, Law, Agriculture and Applied Medical Sciences programs. Result of 'LPUNEST 2017'- has been declared on university's official website (www.lpu.in)

The candidates can download their result cards from www.lpu.in and can access their ranks, scholarship status, counseling dates etc from this website. 

This result is for LPUNEST 2017 test, Phase - 1 A, which was held from 10^th April 2017 to 2^nd May 2017. The candidates from across the country had appeared for the exam in large numbers 

The candidates who have cleared the entrance test are now going to attend the Round 1 counseling process from 4th May to 9th May 2017. During this period, candidates have to fill their online seat preferences, and their seat allotment letter will be issued on 10th May 2017. After this, candidates can take admission in their allotted seats. 

LPU chancellor's take on the exam : 

LPU Chancellor Mr Ashok Mittal informed, "LPU conducts entrance exam every year to get best students which are academically strong.This unique test measures the students' abilities and is not only an entrance test but also a scholarship test. Candidates will also get scholarship up to Rs 1.5 lakh per annum depending upon their performance in this test. I am happy to share that the test was successfully conducted in 220 cities and the result has also been declared on time." 

Candidates taking admission through online process under Phase 1 A will be entitled for maximum scholarship slab. They will also avail Early Decision Benefit (EDB) and for this, the programme fee of the year 2016 will be applicable to them. 

 Applications for Phase 1 B of the test are also being received now, and students can apply for the same till 31st May 2017.
