KL Technology Incubators Foundation (KLTIF-TBI) at KL Deemed to be University hosted an Innovative Boot camp to Create and Nurture Entrepreneurial Ecosystem.
On November 5, 2022, KL University, one of the best private universities in India, hosted the KL Technology Incubators Foundation, Innovative Bootcamp 2022, on its campus. A well-structured evaluation parameter for startups in the ideas and prototype stages was developed to strengthen and expand the startup ecosystem throughout the nation. Startups would receive funding from KL Technology Incubators Foundation under the MeitY TIDE 2.0 Scheme for up to Rs.7 lakhs, which will assist entrepreneurs and innovators in reaching the Minimum Viable Product stage. There were 140 applications from all over India, and 30 startups were chosen to present their innovative concepts to the panel of experts. The panel made up of successful entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, industry experts, and ecosystem enablers.
Prominent individuals like Mr. Vijetha Shastry, Associate Director at Dexter Capital, Mr. Subbarao NV, Board of Directors at Hyderabad Angels, and Mr. Ajay Kabadi, Founder and CEO of DocketRun Tech Pvt.Ltd, Mr. Rajendra Prasad Moturu, founder of the Clevinno Water Foundation, Dr. M. Bapuji Maringanti, professor of pharmacy at the KLEF and retired CSIR scientist,Prof. Penke Satyanarayana, IOT DepartmentSmt. KLEF (HOD)The presence of Veena Hanamsagar, Chief Executive Officer of KLTIF – TBI, and Dr. Rajasekhar Krovi, Prof. CSE, enriched the event.
At this occasion according to Er. Through this Innovative Bootcamp, KLTIK-TBI brought a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, collaboration, and experience to student startup enthusiasts to assist in translating a business idea into practice. Since its inception in 2018, KLTIF has supported more than 50 national startups, which have resulted in the creation of over 200 jobs.
