Dr. R A Mashelkar would be honoured by JKLU with the renowned JKLU Laureate Award
JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU) will honor the Former Director General of CSIR and Padma Vibhushan Awardee Dr. R A Mashelkar with the prestigious JKLU Laureate Award. Raghunath Anant Mashelkar is an Indian Chemical Engineer, born in a village named Marcel in Goa and brought up in Maharashtra. He was deeply connected with the innovation movement in India and also served as the Chairman of India's National Innovation Foundation from 2000 to 2018.
The JKLU Laureate Award was started in the year 2014 as an attempt to honor nationally and internationally acclaimed and outstanding achievers and to help young minds get inspired and motivated by these incredible achievers.
This year, the event will be held on the 14th of April at the University Campus from 2 to 3:30 pm. The event will also include the delivery of the highly anticipated Hari Shankar Singhania Memorial Oration by Dr. R A Mashelkar, which will be live-streamed worldwide.
KK Maheshwar, the Registrar of JKLU said, “This prestigious event is a great opportunity for professionals from all walks of life, especially entrepreneurs, youngsters, and start-up enthusiasts, to learn from a great personality who has contributed a lot to the development of our country”.
