Chandigarh, India – Chandigarh University has once again demonstrated its excellence in cultural and artistic pursuits by clinching the title of Overall Champion at the prestigious 38th AIU Inter-University National Youth Festival. Organized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), this grand festival witnessed participation from top universities across the nation, competing in a diverse range of cultural, literary, and performing arts events.
The university's contingent displayed exceptional talent, dedication, and competitive spirit, securing top positions across multiple categories and ultimately claiming the coveted championship trophy. This remarkable achievement underscores Chandigarh University’s commitment to fostering creativity, leadership, and artistic excellence among its students.
Category-Wise Triumphs of Chandigarh University at the 38th AIU Inter-University National Youth Festival
Chandigarh University students displayed exceptional talent across various categories, achieving remarkable victories. Notably, we clinched the 1st position overall in Literary events and secured 2nd place in Theatre, Music, and Dance.
In category-wise achievements, Chandigarh University dominated with first-place victories in Procession, Cartooning, Rangoli, Western Vocal Solo, Western Instrumental, Group Song Western, Folk Dance, Elocution, Debate, Skit, and Mime. Additionally, our students secured 2nd place in Non-Percussion, Folk Orchestra, Classical Dance, and One-Act Play, along with 3rd place in College and Percussion, 4th in Light Vocal Indian, and 5th in Classical Vocal Solo.
Our outstanding performance is further reflected in the medal tally, with an impressive 11 Gold, 4 Silver, and 2 Bronze Medals, alongside 4th and 5th position finishes in respective events. These achievements underscore the dedication, creativity, and excellence of our students, reinforcing Chandigarh University's legacy of success and holistic development.
