Employers find it hard to recruit the right candidates in India; the graduates either have insufficient technical expertise required for the job or lack soft skills like teamwork, collaboration, agility, decision making and critical thinking, among other things. Companies often have to invest significantly in training these youngsters to bring them up to speed.
However, UPES, with its unrelenting focus on skill-building, is bridging the industry-academia gap through a path-breaking, multidisciplinary curriculum framework. The university offers state-of-the- art facilities, a commitment to excellence, and bespoke learning that focuses on imparting 21st century skills to the learners.
