STEP 1: New Candidate Registrations (First-time users)
- New Candidate to visit the website: kmatindia.com and click on KMAT 2023 Application Apply Now.
- Click Register (New Candidate) for candidates who are registering first time.
- Course Applying for: Select the appropriate Course option from the drop-down i.e. MBA or MCA.
- Candidate’s First Name, Middle Name and Last Name: Write your Name as it appears in your School Leaving Certificate.
- Gender: Select the appropriate gender option.
- Nativity by birth/Domicile: Select the appropriate option to confirm your nativity If you do not belong to Karnataka state by either Birth or Domicile, please select the option - Non-Karnataka candidate

Photograph format has to be JPEG, JPG and PNG format as only these are acceptable. Your photograph must be a recent (not over 3 months before registration) passport size looking directly at the camera, in colour preferably, against a white or light background.
- If there is a red-eye effect, please edit to remove it.
- If you wear glasses, these should not be tinted glasses.
- Check to make sure that the photograph has no reflections.
- Your eyes and face should be visible.
Wearing caps, hats or any tinted or dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover the face. Otherwise, the application form will be rejected.
Step 4: Make the Required Payment
Candidates will finally have to make the payment for the application fee and submit the application form. The application fee for KMAT Karnataka registration is 800 INR including GST. There is no concession for candidates of reserved categories. Fee can be paid either online through Net-banking/Credit Card/Debit Card or offline through a demand draft.
