Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences was established after the formation of the State of Telangana in the year 2014 and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Medical Council of India (MCI). KNRUHS functions as an affiliating University offering Under Graduate, Post Graduate, Super Specialty, Doctoral, and Post-Doctoral Courses in various branches of Health Sciences. One of the main and important objectives of KNRUHS Warangal for establishing itself as a State Health University is to have uniform policies of admissions, curriculum, and examinations and to encourage research in Health Sciences to achieve the goal of improving the delivery of health care to the people of Telangana State.
Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences is the only university with the complete digitalization of the entire university work. The digitization for activities such as pre-examination, examination, and post-examination is being done to have complete transparency and effective error-free results in collaboration with TCS.
