For internship, many companies from technical and non-technical domains visit the college for internships every year and offer a stipend up to 18000 per month like getmyuni, Jaro education, amazon, etc in various roles like IT, Marketing, Sales, Content marketing.

I have been selected as an intern in the getmyuni company.

Almost 305 companies visit the campus each year and the average package offered is around 4.14 LPA while the highest package has been offered this year by Adobe is 27 LPA to two students of the college.

There is also a huge network of Alumni by the name of Alma connect where present students can connect and seek for help from the alumni of the college.

There are 3 hostels for girls and 4 for boys. The hostel fees are around Rs 90,000 to 1,25,000 per annum.

The PGs outside the college are also available and at low rates of around  Rs 60,000 to  Rs 1,00,000.

Food is provided in the hostel mess 4 times a day, in which cleanliness and hygiene are taken care of. There is a cafeteria for students along with many shops for snacks and beverages as well.

Classrooms are clean and spacious, Labs have a sufficient number of computers and other components including a supercomputer as well. There are libraries for every department along with a central library, dining halls are cleaned and equipped with ACs and are properly opened and closed according to the timings. There are different buildings and faculty for different departments and an entirely different building for the first year.

The eligibility criteria for admission in KIET Group of Institutions or any private college affiliated to AKTU is through is 10+2 for B. Tech and B. Pharm students and the admission procedure is through UPSEE Entrance Exam and then choosing the institute in UPSEE Online Counselling.

The entrance examination was UPSEE for which the application mode was online but the exam was conducted offline.

The cutoff for B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering ranges between 4500 to 6500 for the general category and 6500 to 10,000 for OBC.

The Class timings are from 9:00 am to around 4:50 pm.

The attendance criteria are 75% minimum.

There is no uniform but a decent dress code is to be followed.

College guides the students to work in projects from the first year itself.

Semester exams of around 70 marks are conducted after every semester ie. 8 in total while the internal marks are given based on the CT1, CT2, and CT3 ie. class tests conducted in each semester.

The classes are conducted with the help of smart TV and efficient computer labs for hands-on experience.

The overall experience in terms of studies is strict as well as nice.

Krishna Institute of Engineering and Technology, [KIET] Ghaziabad Fee Structure. The fee for my B.Tech course is Rs 1,36,499 per year.

The fee is excluding the hostel fees which range between Rs. 90,000 to Rs.1,25,000.

The scholarship is offered to economically weaker students and to the students belonging to  SC/ST/OBC category as well as to the meritorious students.

The average number of students who get a scholarship is around 1000.

There is no policy for loans provided by the college though and the fees have to be paid as a one-time payment.

There are a number of technical as well as non-technical societies in the college namely DSC, Innogeeks, TEDX, Pragmatic, Odyssey, Dance club, Music Club, etc.

The main festival on the campus that is celebrated is Janmashtmi as the name of the college itself is Krishna Institute of Engineering and technology. There is also a temple inside the college.

Proper importance is given to management and sports as a yearly inter-institute sports fest is organized in the college.

Life in college revolves around academics as well as fun if you have friends or are a part of a society or club.
