Saras Omar's Review on Kanpur Institute of Technology

In the 3rd year of my graduation, I joined summer internship, which was of no stipend, under a highly reputed ethical hacker, through college. Key roles for hiring mostly is Finance, IT and sales. The average salary is INR 1.5 to INR 3.5lac ctc, and every student willing to work get the job, even many offers per hand. Alumni network is managed at ERP level, and various functions are organized for them.

* separate boys and girls hostel, approx INR 7000 fee per month of the hostel, 2and 3 bedrooms with the cooler facility. at about 10km distance, that is Ramadevi chauraha, many PGs are available, in price range INR 1500-INR 3500 food in hostel mess is good, at canteen not much variety is available, at canteen, it is INR 40 plate per meal.few classrooms are equipped with A.C,others are not, labs are fully equipped, separate building for computer labs, large dining halls, wifi for hostel students, 2 storey library

Any inter pass PCM student can apply through management quota, although AKTU counseling admission is preferred. For me, it was my AIR JEE rank, on the basis of which I got the entry.

class timings are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The faculty is very good and experienced, traditional way of teaching, regular classes, 75% attendance is compulsory. HOD and class coordinators are very helpful .it was quite a nice and learning experience, good atmosphere, greenery, discipline, peace and very enjoyable fests.

The fee structure of KIT Kanpur is INR 1,05,650 per annum. samaj Kalyan vibhag scholarship is available. In my batch, all who applied got the scholarship. As scholarship is there for financial assistance, loans are not needed

Cybersrishti, computer society here, is very enthusiastic, similarly is there yantrikaan, for mechanics, which won at IIT kanpur for robotics. *Udbhav, fest for freshers, and many other cultural, sport and technical fests are organized. *college life here is nice overall, study, discipline and enjoyment is the summary of it.
