On account of placement our college is bit behind. Its average paid salary per year is INR 3.5 lakhs and Highest paid salary is INR 4.5 lakhs. Hcl, Infosys, and many more companies visit every year to our college. And nearly about 60% students get placed.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
AKGEC is an engineering college affiliated to AKTU (Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam technical universities). our college takes admission only based on the merit in UPTU entrance examination. In order to take admission in AKGEC, a student must have a rank below INR 15000 in UPTU entrance examination which is organized every year, most probably in the month of April.

Placements & Internships : There is a very good placement for students pursuing computer science and Information technology. The average package is 2.5 LPA and more according to the ability of the students. The options for the other branches like ME/CE/EN is GATE.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : For the admission in AKGEC, you have two options; one is through management quota and the other through entrance exam. Since it always remains in the top three list of private colleges in U.P, so you need to score very well in the entrance exam (UPTU) to get the college i.e under 7,000 ranks for general category. Also if you want to enter through management quota, you need to have 90% and above in PCM.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria for admission is minimum 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA in the relevant qualifying degree. Admission procedure is either AKTU entrance exam, JEE MAINS or direct admission. I took AKTU entrance exam. Typical cutoffs for my course maximum 12,500 in aktu entrance exam.
