Entrance Exams & Admissions : Admission to B.Tech course is done on the basis of merit in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) or JEE Main. Admission to the B.Tech Lateral course is done through Joint Entrance Lateral Entry Test (JELET). BBA and BCA course admissions are done on the basis of merit in 10+2 or equivalent examination For admission to the MCA course, candidates need to score well in Joint Entrance for admission in Master of Computer Applications (JECA). Entrance Exams & Admissions : 45% minimum aggreegate and without disqualification were the criteria for all the candidates. Admission was done through a counseling according to a state level entrance examination ranking. I had got a chance from West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. There was no as such cutoffs.
Academics & Faculty : College is very stricts in terms of attendance and academics. Assignments and projects are given time to time. Teaching faculties are also good but you may face some conversational language issue if you are non Bengali. In overall view college is average.
