Placements and Internships
There are no internships available in this college. Some local companies come to college for placement whose salary is not more than INR 25000.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
Infrastructure is not good. Boys hostel is available here but usually, students prefer lodge. Food may be taken outside the college.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
The eligibility criteria for admission in BCA, Purnea College, Purnea is an admission test conducted by the BCA department in the college. You should have passed 12th with Science stream. Percentage of marks doesn't matter here. The typical cutoffs are nearly 60%.
Academics and Faculty
No class timing is fixed. Sometimes it may be 7 am in winter morning and sometimes 12 noon in summer. Quality and method of teaching are not good but the overall experience is average.
Fees and Scholarships
The course fee of BCA is INR 30000. Some government scholarships are available to OBC, SC, ST and minorities students 50% students get scholarships on average but scholarship amount is not large.
Clubs and Associations
Not good. The main festivals are Republic day and Independence day. Life in college is not well.
