Placements and Internships
I had done an internship in BSNL and Cisco during engineering days. Companies that hire the most from our college are from IT. The average package would be around INR 3 Lack per annum. Alumni network is pretty good since we have an Alumni meet in Blore every year and also in college.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
Hostels were on the campus and it was good. There are many facilities like a gym for hostels now I think. There is ground to play cricket or football or Carrom. Quality of classrooms, labs, libraries are really good with AC. WiFi is also available.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
The eligibility criteria are 50% in 12th equivalent and KCET for entrance. Not sure about the cut-offs. In the year 2015 people who had CET rank below 20k got into college in the first round.
Academics and Faculty
The classes are from 9 am to 5 pm. Teaching was good. Overall experience was good
Fees and Scholarships
The course fees are INR 38000 per year. There are scholarship and loans available for the students.
Clubs and Associations
We have college fest which is huge for which many colleges across South Canara and also from other districts come to take part in. College life is good in general. There would be many fun activities like a Treasure hunt and other games and festival celebrations as well.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I joined this college in 2013. I had given my Common Entrance Test(CET), in which I got 64K odd rank so I had no much hope of getting CET seat so I opt for management seat. I had to pay 70K fees. I think now is around 90K. I think you should score below 20K ranking to get a CET seat in MITE for Information Science & Engineering. It is a good course with good teaching faculties. people with interest can go for it.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : 1. 10+2. Admission can be through CET Or Management quota. Admission through CET is to take CET exam and get the ranking and based upon the ranking, list few colleges and available college is given for admission. If through management quota no need of any exam. 2. Common Entrance Test (CET) 3. Depends on streams.
