Placements and Internships

3.5

Placements and internships are really great for Computer, Mechanical branches. Chemical engineers also get good pay and packages due to the presence of many industries nearby the city. ECE and electrical are mostly placed in IT fields and less on the core side. Civil Students also get decent placements.

Regarding CTC and the companies that visit the campus is available on the official website.

Very good Alumni network is built in the college and constant relations are maintained by the Alumni cell of the college by organizing fests for alumni.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

4

Classrooms and departments are well equipped, good furniture and ventilated.

Boys Hostels: Each year it is a different hostel and fee is ₹32000 +14000 odd per annum(including mess fee)

Girls Hostel: One hostel is available and fee is ₹ 33000+14000 odd per annum( including mess fee)

Hostels in the campus are great and need not to look for PGs. Hostel food is good for girls and moderate for boys.

Library: Awesome library, can get most of the required books for academics. (Non academic books are less in number)

Wifi and LAN facilities are available and yes we can high speed internet from these.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

You should score around 100 marks in JEE Main and secure a 75% in your class 12th board examinations to get admitted. Also you should be on the list of top 20 percentile of people taking the same board as you in class 12. To get into SVNIT, Surat ECE you should score around 180 marks in JEE Main.

Academics and Faculty

3.5

Classes begin by 8:30 am and it depends on the timetable of various departments. Enough free time is available to go for extra learning and other activities. Faculty depends on the branch, Faculties of Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical and Civil departments are good.

Electronics and Computers are in short of experienced faculty but there are awesome professors too.

3

The course fee is INR 1,25,000 per annum. Students with parents annual income less than 1 lakh rupees are given a complete fee reimbursement.
