The eligibility criteria and admission procedure of MBBS course in SMIMS Gangtok were as follows:
- 12 result (50% min)
- 10 result
- Caste Certificate
- COI
- Birth Certificate
- Adhar card I qualified NEET
Cut off was above 108 for OBC
Fees and Scholarships
Scholarships are available. INR 650000 per year is awarded to40% students under BPL. Loans are available for the students.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Sikkim Manipal Institute Of Medical science is a college under the sikkim Manipal University. NEET is the qualifying examination. Minimum eligibility criteria is 50 percentage. The college is honest and doesn't accept admissions through any outside help. Admission is purely merit based.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : You have to appear for NEET and also have to qualify with good marks. You have to fill an extra form of SMIMS if you are under the cut off marks as per SMIMS you will be called for counseling. But counseling doesn't ensure you a seat. I have appeared for NEET. Different cut off's for different categories.
