Rihans Kumar's Review on B.J.B Autonomous College

Well, in the mid term we got an opportunity for an internship and lectures from Prof. HC VERMA. No stipends for general students. Few companies like Infosys, Dell, and IT sectors hired students from our college having an average pay scale of INR 25-27k.

There are two hostels for boys, one is for general students and the other one is for SC and ST students and there is a single girls' hostel. I never stayed in a hostel, so don't know about its fees. There is a canteen in our college a meeting point for all students during vacant periods. It costs INR 50/- for a normal meal. Classrooms are well lit, labs are with all required instruments, over all the complex is with a well designed infrastructure with free Wi-Fi.

Securing more than 85% in the 12th board can make you eligible to pursue your graduation in my college. Particularly there are entrance examinations for science, arts and commerce stream. During 2014-17 batch the cutoff was nearly about 80.67% in physics stream.

Classes begin at 11 AM and end at 4 PM having numerous free periods. We had two semesters and two mid semesters every year. Along with daily assignments we had to attend our lab classes and projects works as well. According to my experiences the quality and credibility of teaching- learning process was quite good. It was a thriving experience during the last three year and I got matured at many levels. Friends were helpful, surrounding was mesmerizing and excellent.

The average course fee per annum was INR 2.7k. Yeah, both national and state levels scholarships are there. More than 60% of students get a scholarship every year. The course fee is quite reasonable so no loan is needed.

There are a lot of student societies like cultural, language, social service, and event management. Every year we celebrate annual sports events, conducts election, and hosts annual dance, cultural events which is probably inaugurated by the personel of the state. Life in my college is enjoyable, valuable and memorable.
