Placements and Internships
- Average salary may be around 4-4.5 lakhs at SRMIMT.
- Placement is better for CSE and IT students in comparison to any other branch.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Hostel fee is around 50,000 per year for non AC rooms at SRMIMT.
- Overall infrastructure is not too good as compared to main campus in Chennai.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Eligibility criteria is that they must have secured 55% marks in physics,chemistry,maths.
- Admission is done through entrance exam or by management quota.
- Cutoff: students who have secure rank under 70,000 in SRM entrance exam can get admission at SRM Gaziabad
Academics and Faculty
- Faculty at SRMIMT is not too good.
- You have to do hard work.
- Overall experience is not too good
Fees and Scholarships
- Course fee is 2.25 lakhs per annum excluding mess and hostel charges at SRMIMT.
- Scholarship is based on the rank got in SRM entrance exam and the students who secured rank under 1000 in JEE main will get 100% scholarship for 1 year.
- Number of student getting scholarship is based on number of student appeared in counseling.
Clubs and Associations
- If you are having good friends then you will enjoy.
- Fest conducted by SRMIMT is very boring.
- Life in college is average only.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Well, I appeared in JEE Main as well as IPU CET and obviously, my preference was to study in Delhi only. I scored avg rank in IPUCET and hence couldn't get through the top 3 colleges of it. Apart from those colleges, I didn't find any college worth studying so I chose to get any good college in NCR where I can do up-down on daily basis. SRM NCR campus I found better in any terms as compared to other colleges in NCR at that time, being brand value, infra, placements etc. So I approached directly to the college and based upon my AIEEE exam and past academic results they offered me IT and not CSE, although my first preference was CSE only I agreed to go with IT.

Fees & Scholarships : For b.tech, the course fee at SRM Institute of Management and Technology is Rs 160000 per year and for b.sc it's around Rs 65000 per year and for MBA fee is Rs 150000 per year. The scholarship is provided by the college.
